Allison and company

It is the best when you get to shoot a friend and her family. Not only because it is a chance to chat and catch up, but because you are studying the little details about her family and world and you get to know them on a whole other level. I am so appreciative when people agree to let me in. I know the idea seems strange, but the photos that result from capturing someone in the place where they actually live life makes it worth it. We shot most of the photos at the elementary school across from Allison's place, where her kids play, and where they are happy and comfortable. I had such a hard time choosing favorites from this session, but here are just a few... or twenty. There are twenty. I know, I know. I need to get better at getting my numbers down. I can't help it.
